SPRING OF ETERNITY (ENGLISH)

PREORDER for October 2020

This is a collection of poems inspired by love, freedom, belonging, spiritual maturity and awakening of consciousness. The title was originally the Spring of the fifty roses symbolising the start or the twilight phase of one's maturity in life. Later on the Spring of Eternity title seemed more appropriate as this holds the fruits of seasons of blossomings and personal realizations.

Reviews & Critiques

The poetry of Irina Childs is not easy to understand, as her poetry is charged with the Philosophy of the Divine and has a sacred direction. We all know that the entire culture of humanity is based on capturing the religious mystery and even Albert Einstein talks about the existential mystery of our lives in general. The poet Irina Childs is accomplished in that her life is united with her Creator and she fluidly writes a sanctified poetry.

Georgeta Blendea Zamfir
Poet, writer

The author is lucky because her direction is clearly oriented towards the union with the worlds above us. She is convinced that the creator is the one who encompasses and offers her everything she needs and gives her everything, which is a perpetual search for her existence beyond human pursuits and makes Irina Childs' poetry to have the appropriate peak.

An Excerpt

I adore you

And I fall in love

Deep down

With you

I drink wine

Of eternity

And I find you

With every breath

Living alive

Moment by moment

Present

Attentive

In me

The meeting in Hong Kong

I met
With myself in Hong Kong
This evening
Or it was morning
It doesn't matter
I was fine
unchanged
Ready to laugh, to run,
to love
I recognized myself immediately
I was in love
I quickly recognize myself these days
From many
I know who I am
Immediately.

And then I realized
That I hadn't left
I'm home
Only the perspective is changing
Sometimes
When you look inside
Or outside
It would have been in the afternoon or in the morning
It was the mountain with a peak in the fog
Many people in a hurry
In Hong Kong
But
That doesn't matter
I immediately recognized
myself
And I was home ...
