INSPIRE
I believe that a person of moral courage can become a majority and that wisdom is more important than force. I believe that love & spiritual intelligence is in trying times more relevant than IQ. I believe that when we learn to be wise, forgive and embrace life, we discover an intrinsic happiness that is not altered by what we gain or not, a happiness that is also our chance to embody the depth and spectrum of who we are as human beings rather than human doings. I believe that at our core we are more alike than most people can realize and more sacred than we can imagine.
Visionary leader
In 2008 graduating a 2 years yoga teacher training I spontaneously took a chalk to the blackboard and wrote "Teach only love for that is all you are". The words sprang out from nowhere yet remained to this date one of my core beliefs. In 2017 visiting Bhubaneswar I had the chance to create a teaching programme for the schools of Swami Shankarananda Giri, a descendant of the Kriya Yoga lineage, the very same lineage that has given us sages like Swami Sri Yukteswar & Paramahansa Yogananda. Visiting one of Swamiji's schools I took the chalk to their board and again wrote these same words "Teach only love for that is all you are". Both of us stood there in silence as there was, for a while, nothing else to add.
Philanthropist
I believe volunteering our time, resources and effort for good causes that are close to our hearts has the potential to improve both our wellbeing as well as the welfare of our peers, community and ultimately the humankind. After I closed my real estate consultancy business, I was invited to manage the creation of the first Yoga Therapy Centre in Europe & I volunteered my business knowledge and time. In 2010 I funded the start-up of an Academy for the future of education, which has grown over years. In addition to being its founder, director and benefactress, I coached and mentored the Academy staff and in 2018 I sponsored the delivery of a complete educational program for 300 students in India which has successfully run for 8 months.
